The Red Sox won again last night, evening the series at 3-3. If you watched the game, you know two things for sure. First, no team has ever forced a game 7 after starting in the hole, 3-0, much less won that seventh game. Second, Curt Schilling is an absolute horse. He pitched 7 innings of 1-run baseball on a bum ankle. The man's sock was bloody from a painkiller shot he received before the game. Surely, you didn't miss the cut shots to the bloody sock every 10 minutes.

I think the Yankees have a huge pitching advantage tonight with Kevin Brown, Javier Vazquez, and El Duque all available. The Red Sox will probably go with Derek Lowe and hold Wakefield as backup. I, like most everyone else, thought this series was over 3 days ago. I can't believe we'll have another Yankees-Red Sox Game 7 tonight. Can't wait.

Shilling's bloody sock wasn't from a painkiller shot, but from the team doctor suturing his skin to his tendon for a temporary solution. Talk about taking one for the team...
