Replay. Last night, Rivera blew the save in the 8th and, again, David Ortiz ended it in extra innings. A 14 inning, 6 hour game; Red Sox win 5-4. I don't think anyone in Boston is getting work done this week. Game 6 tonight; Boston needs 2 more in a row.
The Astros one-hit the Cards last night to take a 3-2 series lead. After dropping the first two, Houston won three in a row at home, where they have won 22 of their last 23 games.
The Red Sox and the Astros have the momentum. One week before the election, we could have a Texas-Massachusetts World Series.
God! how crazy would that be? I have to say that watching the sox last night was driving me insane. I don't know if I can take another one!
You realize that you are completely to blame for the Astros being in the playoffs in the first place. :)
