Before voting in the new poll, read the following speeches by Senator Zell Miller (D-Georgia):

  1. Miller's RNC keynote address from last night (NYT login: kegz03/kegz03)
  2. Introduction of Sen. John Kerry, March 1, 2004 at Democratic Party dinner in Georgia

From the Slate article…

Miller: Today, at the same time young Americans are dying in the sands of Iraq and the mountains of Afghanistan, our nation is being torn apart and made weaker because of a Democrat's manic obsession to bring down our commander in chief.

A “manic obsession to bring down our commander in chief”? Most people call this a “presidential election.”

I have to hand it to GOP strategist Karl Rove. If you're going to make one guy at your shindig look like a foaming at the mouth, spewing maniac, might as well make it the Democrat.
