Fred Rogers bio
In honor of today's poll and the most decent man (in my opinion) in the history of television.
Mister Rogers trivia: Michael Keaton operated Trolley and Picture, Picture during the 70s.
wait. was it daniel striped tiger or henrietta i liked? let's just say both. i can't separate the two- which was which?
my brother and i used to have the 'come on and wake up' album he put out. a couple of times when we were little i put it on my fischer price stereo suitcase and blasted it next to my sleeping brother's head. he and i still sing it to this day, along with 'spend spend spend' by (i learned later, an always drunk-) morgan freeman on an electric company song and 'time to change' from our brady bunch albums. first record i was ever given- sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band was played on that fischer price suitcase turntable.
another way i'd torture my sleeping brother was to hold a finger against his toe 'til he kicked so much it woke him up. he got me back though, with scratch and sniff stickers of a lawn mower (i'm allergic to grass) and of a skunk under the pillowcase on my bed pillow. then, a few years ago i snuck in his room and taped him on a cassette while snoring. i'd always wake him up because i couldn't hold back the laughter.
who knew mr. rogers could make me so sentimental.
hey, did anyone else watch gigglesnort hotel?
