Stace and I are heading to a cottage in Northern Illinois to stay with my dad and a few of his friends this weekend. Even though we have our big trip to Portland and Seattle in a week, this should be a fun, yet short, break away from the city.

Each couple is responsible for a meal this weekend, so the spices and pans are packed for an extra large batch of Stace's mom's recipe for chicken and veggies: my favorite. I have the bikes on the trunk and we're rolling out when her last meeting is over this afternoon.
