Greg Maddux pitched his second consecutive complete game today in a 13-2 Cub rout of the Reds. Maddux threw a shutout last weekend vs. the Brewers and he yielded just 2 solo shots and 2 singles today on 92 pitches. He walked no one in either game.

Today's win is #298 for his career. Projecting forward, his next three starts are in Milwaukee next Tuesday, at home against the Phils the following Sunday, and then in San Francisco the Saturday after that. I would love to see Maddux get #300 at home. That Phils game will be a very hot ticket if he wins the next one against Milwaukee.
