The day of game and advance ticket sales clerks at Wrigley Field might need to find other work this summer. The Cubs have a chance at selling out the entire 2004 season before the season starts. Last friday, the Cubs set a major league record with 572,000 tickets sold in one day. Speaking from my own experience in the virtual waiting room last week, I'm not surprised. This year is set to be the biggest disappointment or celebration ever at Wrigley field. There will be no in between.

Corey Patterson hit a home run yesterday in his first at-bat after returning from last year's knee surgery. However, the pitching stunk and the Cubs dropped the first spring training game to the Giants 9-3. Also, Prior is hurting with a sore Achilles tendon, but there's a month to go until games count. *fingers crossed on Prior's health*
