This post picks on Californians, but most Americans are ignorant of where places are in their country and the world. If you change the perspective of this map to the average New Yorker, Chicagoan, or Texan, it'd be equally myopic with different placenames. I'm sure we have senators and congressmen that couldn't finish one of those wooden puzzles of the 50 states.
