Daley and the city council approved a plan that adds an additional 4 night games per year to the Cubs' schedule for each of the next 3 years. By 2006, the Cubs will be playing 30 of their 81 home games under the lights.
Stace and I like heading to night games with day-of-game tickets; no better way to spend a summer monday evening. We had an easy time pulling this off in the past when the team was woeful, but the outlook is different now. Tickets will be in high demand this year with high team expectations and night games are always popular.
There's still plenty of day games to keep the traditionalists and friday "office meeting" workers happy. For me, it's fewer games to jealously listen to on my work headphones and more we can attend.
