Matthew Sweet has a new one titled Kimi Ga Suki. He claims "at least 6 people swear to me that this album is great." A return to glory for the Matthew "I'm really not trying to look like Meatloaf" Sweet? He best not be teasing. (Here's one of the 6, anyway.)

I need to give John Vanderslice a real go. I saw him open for Beulah and he was alright, but nothing to go out and buy. I have to be missing something considering how many people have recommended him.

Fog of War comes to the theatre this weekend. Evanston and the Music Box are both playing it.
