This is news that will break Stacy's heart. NASA has announced there will be no future service shuttle missions to the Hubble telescope. Without regular maintenance, scientists estimate the telescope can continue working another 3 to 4 years.

Without the Hubble, science will not only lose an amazing tool for researching the origins of the universe, but I won't have pictures like these to enjoy.

Crab Pulsar
Pencil Nebula
Swan Nebula

Weird to pull the plug on that as they announce the moon and Mars thangs.

Those are amazing photos. Very sad the Hubble will be no more and nothing to replace it for a number of years.
