Whirlyball courts are dimly lit and the action is fast moving, hence the not so hot picture quality. But you get the idea. I had an absolute blast. I think everyone else did as well. Thank you for coming out and celebrating!

What you had to say:

I am particularly impressed that you were able to discern exactly what was going on in each shot! It was a great birthday idea- and i have the bruises to prove it!

December 19 2003

Yup, we didn't come to your fancy birthday party because we thought you'd be having too much fun for our taste. And boy, looking at these pictures, it looks like I was right! Bah humbug!

December 19 2003

I bust a gut, seeing those pictures. Do you mind if I steal a few for my site, or would you prefer that I link it?

I woke up this morning with bruised hipbones, a sore butt-crack, and a smile... For a good time, definately call Whirlyball.

December 19 2003

Yeah, I had abrasions on my hips, too. And one on my sternum means extra fun. Good idea, old man.

Alexis, feel free to copy what you like. I learned last time I played Whirlyball that you gotta slow down when you're approaching the wall. The wall doesn't give way like smashing into other people does.

I hope we'll all do it again sometime.
