They probably announced this months ago, but I just heard that Lillstreet Art Center is moving to Ravenswood, specifically to the corner of Montrose and Ravenswood. I took a pottery class at Lill Street last year and discovered that wheelthrowing quickly humbles the proud. I won't be churning out earthenware gifts anytime soon, but I have an unexplained mosaic itch that I need to scratch. I can't explain why I want to cover lamps and tabletops with small shards of colored glass, but I do.

Even bad pottery is good for the soul.

Where have YOU been?
We've been talking about this since the last time I drew naked ladies.
Oh, and, wow, how did you post so much stuff while all I did was fly to San Francisco? I feel like a real slacker....

She lands in SF and the first thing she does is check my blog. Tell me you're not using the Internet by the minute station in the airline terminal. Hehe.

I guess it didn't register in my head that you were taking drawing in Ravenswood. I thought you going to their location in Lincoln Park. You know anyone that does mosaics? Am I weird for wanting to try this?

What else is my laptop for but to surf? Do I need all these other applications?

No seriously... Of course I have to check your blog(s).... I need to stay in touch with Chi-town. Besides, I don't have much to do yet b/c I don't have the software to read the datamodel at my new client - anybody got a copy of Erwin for me? ;)

A good friend of mine does mosaics... she buys and finds her tiles. My ex boyfriend Mike took a tile-making class at Lill Street and tiled a table but I guess that isn't mosaics.

And I wasn't taking it at Ravenswood.... I just thought we had been at least talking about the move for a while.
