I'm gonna get all warm and fuzzy for a sec, so if you're not in the mood for that, step outside.

When my dad dropped off the game 7 tickets this afternoon at my job, I asked him why he didn't want to go or why he didn't sell them to make an assload of dough. He said, "When you have a kid someday, you'll understand. Enjoy the game, kiddo."

I don't know if the Cubs are gonna win or lose tonight, but absolutely nothing could make my year like that did.

Go Cubs.

That's so cool.
Not to make light of excellent sentiment, but, at first I thought you wrote, "When my Dad dropped off the 7 game tickets...."
I briefly pondered how I was going to charm one of those five extra seats off you. Or two, even.
