Built to Spill is playing at Metro tonight. I've seen them 2 or 3 times before, but no other band makes me look forward to a show as much as BTS. I don't know how Doug Martsch is able to produce the sounds he does so calmly. He is the unassuming guitar hero from Idaho. I will be grinning like an idiot when/if he rips into "Kicked it in the Sun." He sure as hell better.
