Since my original post on Barry Cunnane back in May, a fair number of people have come here searching for further news or details. Today, Mike from Barry's memorial site e-mailed me about an event to raise money towards a reward.

When: Sunday, October 5, 3pm to 9pm
Where: The Irish American Heritage Center - 4626 N. Knox Ave. Chicago, IL

Cash bar. Entertainment will be provided
Voluntary donations will be accepted at the door.
Barry's killer has not been found. The event is raising money for a reward for any information leading to an arrest.

If you want further information or would like to donate by mail, contact justiceforbarry (at)

This will be a great event for a great cause... We hope we can get a good crowd and a substantial purse. The Chicago Police will help promote once we raise the funds.
