Gapers' Block's current poll asks for your favorite coffeeshop. If you like coffeeshops, I would say that this is a pretty good list of places around the city. You even get the obligatory Starbucks bashing. (Everybody hates a winner. Isn't that the American way?)

I like Dunkin Donuts coffee. Really. I only drink coffee for one reason: convenient caffeine. Dunkin D provides that in a low cost styrofoam cup.

The coffee in the office is barely drinkable, but it does fulfill the primary agenda: waking me up in the morning. It's also free, so I can hardly bitch.

If you're a real coffee lover and want to see a horror movie, grab a cup with my dad. He makes the effort to get Intelligentsia coffee (which I'm told is excellent) and then dumps about 6 packets of sugar into it. It's basically a jug full of coffee flavored candy milk. The stirrer almost stands upright.
