Thanks to Ray at batmo.com for sending me his 35th birthday mix CD as promised. 19 tracks, none of which I've ever heard before, though 13 of the bands I have. The 6 I didn't know: Arling & Cameron, The Wondermints, Lester Lanin Orchestra, Cabaret Voltaire, MC Hawking, Talk Talk, & The Bottles. Have I mentioned how much I like mix tapes? (C'mon Danny, when is the double album mix going to production? You promised.)

I also picked up Blacklisted by Neko Case on the way home. It's more of a country thing than her gig with NP, but that's all I can say since I haven't listened to it yet.
